Elder Eric E. Singleton was born on September 19, 1963, to the late Ernest Singleton and Ella Singleton. Elder Singleton is the sixth child of nine children. He attended and graduated from Cainhoy high school in Huger, South Carolina. After graduating from high school, he joined the US Marine Corp. where he served for 10 years. Well in the Marine Corps, he attended Shiloh apostolate church in Jacksonville, North Carolina under Bishop Meredith.
Elder Singleton received the Holy Ghost August 27, 1985, where he served under Bishop Meredith until his discharge. After receiving an honorable discharge from the Marine Corps he became a member of greater apostolate Holiness Church in Augusta Georgia under the late district elder Jay. D. Young. While their elder Singleton was elevated to a deacon, and served as district elder Young’s armor-bearer. Every Saturday, Elder Singleton would wash the pastor's car and every Sunday, he would wait outside to open the door for the pastor and his wife and escort them into the church. Elder Singleton served at greater apostolic for four years.
Elder Singleton felt the call of God to enter into ministry, which brought him back to South Carolina, where he began to attend Cooper‘s faith under the Helms of district elder E. Be. Cooper. His request to God was “if this is your will, let it happen before my 30th birthday. “ 30 days before his birthday elder Singleton had his initial sermon. In the year of 2010, Elderson Felt the call to Pastor, he spoke with district elder E. Be. Cooper and began to take ordination classes through Aneon Bible college. In May 2011, Elder Singleton took the Helms of St. James Temple and later he was installed as pastor in October 2011.
Elder Singleton was united into holy matrimony two men dart Lisa Singleton, They have been married for 14 years into this union they were blessed with seven children: Demetria, Wanda, Dominique, Erica, Ellabell, Elishiona, and Damien.
Pastor Eric Singleton’s vision for the ministry is to equip the next generation for ministry; to help the youth identify their gift or calling, then nurture and train them to be able to fulfill the call of God in their lives.
